News Update: Raju Bista Participates in Annapurna Yojana Launch, Distributes Cheques to Beneficiaries in Siliguri Siliguri, July 1: BJP MP Raju Bista on Wednesday participated in the launch of the Annapurna Yojana in West Bengal and distributed cheques to beneficiaries at a public programme in Siliguri. The scheme, inaugurated by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, provides eligible women aged 21 to 65 from economically weaker and middle-class families with ₹3,000 per month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Bista said the scheme aims to strengthen women financially, support household expenses, and promote dignity, self-reliance, and economic independence. He added that the launch of Annapurna Yojana reflects the BJP government's commitment to women’s empowerment and public welfare.
